Easy & Complete Contacts Sync

1. Warning

If you don’t have a “Location” set in your Windows, Outlook strips the “+” from phone numbers. You can change this in the Control Panel => Phone and Modem Options. It does not matter what country or area code you enter as long as you have your location set. By default, there is no location created in a Windows XP installation.
Outlook can only store one of each type of telephone number. An example: you have two "Work" phone numbers for a contact in Soocial. On a sync with Soocial, only the primary work phone number will make it to Outlook.
Multiple contact folders are not supported yet. The client only syncs the contents of the default folder in Outlook.

Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 with
Outlook 2003, 2007 or 2010(32 bit).

Shut down Outlook (or even better log out of your user account and log back in)
If you are updating the client from an older version, make sure the Soocial client is not running. Uninstall the current version of the client from Start - Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs
Install the Soocial Outlook sync client
After the installation is finished, start Outlook

In the left hand corner there is a small toolbar with the Soocial logo and a "Sync now" and "more..." button
The "more.." button drops down.
Choose "Open Soocial Preferences.."
On the preference tab click Login.
In the login screen enter User name and Password

Hit the “Sync now” button.
Depending on the amount of contacts you have the client will show that it is syncing for a while in the “Status” tab.
If the sync was successful the time of the last sync is shown in the “Status” tab.
