Known Issues

• If you don’t have a “Location” set in your Windows, Outlook strips the “+” from phone numbers. You can change this in the Control Panel => Phone and Modem Options. It does not matter what country or area code you enter as long as you have your location set. By default, there is no location created in a Windows XP installation.
• Outlook can only store one of each type of telephone number. An example: you have two "Work" phone numbers for a contact in Soocial. On a sync with Soocial, only the primary work phone number will make it to Outlook.
• Multiple contact folders are not supported yet. The client only syncs the contents of the default folder in Outlook.

Make a backup before you continue

Making a backup of your Outlook Contacts is fairly easy.

Requirements

Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 with
Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010 or 2013 (32 bit).

1. Shut down Outlook (or even better log out of your user account and log back in)
2. If you are updating the client from an older version, make sure the Soocial client is not running. Uninstall the current version of the client from Start - Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs
3. Install the Soocial Outlook sync client
4. After the installation is finished, start Outlook
